Dr. Hans Schleicher, a Texas native, has been practicing dentistry since 1980 in the Houston area. He founded his practice with a goal to create long-lasting, nurturing relationships with his patients, a vision that has continued across generations. In 2005, Dr. Schleicher shifted his focus to dental sleep medicine, specializing in sleep-disordered breathing, obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), and TMJ disorders. Recognizing the prevalence of undiagnosed sleep apnea in his patient base, he began advanced training in dental sleep medicine and is now board-credentialed in this field.

Dr. Schleicher works closely with medical professionals to offer alternative treatments for patients who cannot tolerate CPAP therapy, such as oral appliance therapy (OAT), which improves sleep quality by opening restricted airways. His clinic, Sleep Houston, provides non-CPAP options for treating sleep apnea and snoring. His dedication to patient care and continuing education is reflected in his recent completion of a two-year residency in advanced dental sleep medicine.

Dr. Schleicher’s work has made a significant impact on the quality of life for many patients, earning him the affectionate title of “marriage saver” for restoring restful sleep to families. Outside of work, Dr. Schleicher enjoys hobbies such as playing guitars, boating, gardening, and traveling. He and his wife, June, are proud of their children, one of whom has followed in their footsteps and graduated from dental school.
